Our Diesel Training Event Was a Hit!

We’re always looking for ways to inform our customers, which leads us to host events like our Ford diesel training event. Beyond the tasty food and drinks, we served up a bunch of information about current and previous Ford Powerstroke diesel engines, offering technical tips as well as advice about maintaining these incredible powerplants.

Ford sent an expert to our Quincy, Massachusetts Ford dealership to lead the class, and he didn’t hold anything back, answering everybody’s questions and ensuring those who came left with the knowledge they need to get the most out of their diesel vehicles.

Thanks to everybody that came out! For those who didn’t get a chance to join us, check out the short video we made about the event.

2012 Subaru Impreza – Capable, Efficient and Versatile

Gas prices have been a hot topic lately, and we’re seeing a lot of people at our dealerships looking for fuel-efficient cars. We offer a number of fuel-sipping options, but I’d like to shine the spotlight on a vehicle that stands out from the rest – the 2012 Subaru Impreza available at Quirk Works Subaru in Braintree, Massachusetts.

Capable of returning up to 36 mpg on the highway, the Impreza is one of the most fuel-efficient all-wheel-drive vehicles on the market, and that makes it a great choice for Boston commuters looking for a capable winter vehicle. But don’t think of the Impreza as just an efficient small car, it also has some neat features that make it stand out from the pack – beyond the all-wheel-drive system of course.

All Impreza sedans and wagons are powered by an all-new 2.0-liter Boxer engine, a unique design that keeps the center of gravity low, which means surprising agility when you’re out cruising the back roads, heading to the beach or escaping to the mountains for the weekend.

The Impreza has room for all your stuff too, thanks to the available hatchback body style. With the back seats folded flat, the Impreza wagon can hold 52.4 cubic-feet of cargo. That’s a number usually reserved for crossovers, and it gives the Impreza great versatility. Whether you’re carrying bikes, groceries or helping a friend move, you’ll always have plenty of room.

Subaru did a great job when they redesigned the 2012 Impreza, creating a car that saves fuel, hauls cargo and was even named a Top Safety Pick by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. If you’re looking for the complete package, visit Quirk Works Subaru in Braintree and let one of our helpful sales staff members show you why the Impreza is the perfect ride for many Massachusetts motorists.

Automotive technology has improved in leaps and bounds, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s all easy to understand. From lengthy acronyms to complicated explanations of function, getting your head around the newest gadget in your car can be a real cause for headache, but it shouldn’t have to be. In our quest to give our customers all the information they need to be educated car shoppers as well as safe drivers, we’ve compiled a Technology Fact Sheet that addresses the ins and outs of the most prevalent auto technologies.

From direct injection to anti-lock brakes, electronic stability control and the complex all-wheel-drive systems found in vehicles like the Subaru Impreza, we cover it all, and we even provide information about how these new gadgets can make your life easier.

The team here at Quirk knows it’s our duty to go further than just providing new and used auto sales, service and parts – we need to ensure our customers have the information they need to make good decisions, and to get the best vehicle for their particular needs.

Here’s a list of our favorite tech-filled cars found at our Quirk Auto dealerships:

Buick: Enclave, LaCrosse

Chevrolet: Equinox, Malibu, Tahoe

Chrysler: 300

Dodge: Challenger

Ford: Edge, Fusion, F-150

GMC: Acadia, Sierra

Jeep: Grand Cherokee

Kia: Optima, Soul

Mazda: MAZDA6, CX-5

Mitsubishi: Lancer, Outlander Sport

Nissan: Frontier, Juke, Xterra

Subaru: Impreza, Legacy

Volkswagen: GTI, Touareg

Until I see you again, drive safe!
