There are few better ways to get to and from the beach than in a convertible muscle car, and the Chevy Camaro SS Convertible is one of the finest drop-top pony cars I’ve ever seen. With its modern-retro design, the Camaro looks back on the glory days of the pony car wars, but the technology inside is anything but dated.
Under the hood, there’s a 6.2-liter V8 engine with 426 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque, which means blistering acceleration. Don’t worry about it being a gas hog though, because you can get up to 24 mpg on the highway, which means a cruising range of up to 456 miles! Just be careful, because that much fun in the sun could lead to serious sunburn.
